Columns

GREEK AND ROMAN COLUMS The past architecture arrived to us with the columns of famous ancient temples once loca- ted in ancient Greece and Rome. Historically, the Doric colums were the first ones to be used and, consequently, they can be considered the most antique ones. After the Doric columns, the Ionic and the Corinth columns made their appearance. These columns represent styles that, nowadays, still preserve their value and, for centuries, they have been reminding us of ancient people and societies as well as their glorious cities.

COLUMNS :
ROUND COLUMN - CONICAL COLUMN - BUSH HAMM COLUMN - FLUTED VERTICALLY COLUMN - FLUTED HELICOIDALLY COLUMN

OUTDOOR GAZEBOS When a garden is big enough, part of it can be used as a circumscribed meeting-place. A “carved Vicenza stone Rotonda”, better known with the name of “gazebo”, creates a small area where people can relax or enjoy an outdoor lunch or simply they can spend some time looking at the nature all around them from a new point of view.

Garden gazebos sculpted in “Vicenza stone” can have columns in Doric, Ionic of Corinth style; in the middle of it, a round stone table can be placed together with some stone benches artistically carved.
