TERMS & CONDITION OF SALE
“Cast Iron Fountains” and “Brass Spouts and Taps” prices are shown on following sheets. “Vicenza stone” statues and “Marble statues” prices will be submitted upon request. We are available to discuss ways and times to define an order. It is important to know that most of the articles in “Vicenza stone” and “marble” can be changed to satisfy the cus- tomer needs. In our Vicenza stone and marble workshops we are able to sculpt sculptures from sketch, illustrations and pictures supplied from our customer. We do not keep articles in store for “Vicenza stone” and “marble”, our workshop works only upon request. Delivery times are referring to a single sculpture, increasing the number of sculptures the delivery times will in- crease but we will let you know on quotation that we will submit you. In particular for the “Vicenza stone” and “marble” the delivery time required is for some months, so it is useful to know it. As soon as the order is confirmed, during the working process, we will send to our customer some pictures that will show the sculpture status, and the customer can make some changes if needed. “Vicenza stone” and “Marble” sculptures proposed are sculpted by Italian sculptors that have a good experience on sculpt and materials work. The other articles proposed, cast iron fountains and taps and fittings are complementary accessories that we pro- pose to our customers to complete the fountain series. These articles are guaranteed and were choose after a carefully selection, these are made from a serious Company.
DELIVERY TIME :
- ”Vicenza stone” and “Marble” : from 40 working days;
- Cast iron fountains and taps and fittings : prompt delivery;
Our offices are closed for ten days during the Christmas and New Years day holidays and for three weeks during the month of August for the annual summer vacation.
PAYMENT :
For “Vicenza stone” and “Marble” sculptures, we request the payment of the 30% of the total amount of the pur- chase in advance at the time of the order and the balance by bank transfer in the name of Rossato Giovanni S.r.l. on notice that the goods are ready to be shipped.
In case of missing payment, the orders will not be considered valid. Cast iron fountains and taps and fittings : advance payment by credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
TRANSPORT :
The use of an express courier guarantee us a safe and punctual service, as well as with the tracking number we have the possibility to check the parcel in transit. This service allows you to have the certainty to receive the item and relative document in pre-arranged time, more- over the short transit time reduce the possibility of damaging and breaking the items sent.
Small packaging/crates (with limited weight) will be sent by express courier (U.P.S. - DHL - FedEx) at advanta- geous prices agreed with these express couriers.
Large crates will be sent by truck - by sea or by air depending on the destination and customer’s urgency.
Our price lists and estimates are for packaged material. In our final offer, we indicate the costs of transportation as well as those for insurance. We provide the client with a precise indication of the complete cost of the purchase C.I.F. and delivery to the nearest port or directly to the customer’s premises, insurance included.
All shipments & deliveries are sent signature required (no P.O. Box deliveries).
C.I.F. is the acronym for Cost Insurance Freight, international abbreviation (INCOTERM) which means that the buyer has to pay all customs duties, taxes, official charges and the charges for the fulfillment of the customs for- malities regarding the goods.
INSURANCE :
The merchandise is checked before packing. We guarantee that the goods are in perfect condition and that they respond exactly to the quality and safety requirements.
We cannot respond or accept responsibility for the damages occurred during transportation or because of negli- gence of others.
The goods shipped out by mail or by express courier are not insured; on the other hand, those sent by truck, by sea or by air are covered by the insurance. The insurance fee is included in the C.I.F. port of arrival (C.I.F.= Cost of material + insurance + freight).
Upon receiving the merchandise, we recommend that the client checks the contents of the packing and, if damage is noted, that he contacts the shipping company IMMEDIATELY in order to notify the problem. We would like to receive a copy of all the documentation regarding the damage too.
If possible, take a photo when you uncrate it – after noting the damage on the bill of lading.
It is always a good idea to sign the delivery documents with a “We reserve the right to check the material” clause. We recommend you to check the goods immediately and, in case of damage, to keep both the packing as well as the damaged goods in order to permit the insurance company to examine the damage and authorize the payment due.
The shipping company will need to know the exact damage to the merchandise.
In any case, we suggest you to not return the material (unless you have written authorization); in fact, the ex- penses would increase with the new shipping.
VARIOUS :
Orders passed over the phone need to be confirmed on paper.
The prices indicated in our price list are valid unless otherwise modified.
The clients from European Community must communicate us their V.A.T. number (or T.V.A.) if their compa- ny is V.A.T. registered.
All the measurements presented in this web site are approximate and all the models are subjected to changes.
All the illustrated articles are protected by the copyrights, legally recognized all over the world.
Each attempt to violate these rights will be punished with a legal action under the Italian law.
Once the client places an order, it is understood that he/she accepts the above mentioned conditions. In case of contestation, the contract shall be governed by the Italian law (Court of Vicenza).
